David Barling is the Partner in charge of the Commercial Department. He specialises in all forms of company and commercial property law. He has extensive experience of development and planning law. He is the Honorary Solicitor to the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA) and the Honorary Solicitor to the Southern Private Landlords Association (SPLA). He was a local Government Councillor for many years and has been Mayor of Hove.

Georgina James is a Partner and is the Head of the Private Client Department dealing with Wills, Trusts and Probate. She specialises in Inheritance Tax Planning, Trusts and Court of protection work including receivership and Enduring Powers of Attorney. She is also involved in the creation of charities and charitable trusts. She is a Governor of St Christophers School, a Volunteer for the Prince's Trust and a Member of the Rotary Club. She is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and a key member of Brighton society.

Nicholas Perkins has been a Partner since 1983 and specialises in Commercial and private Civil Litigation. He has a substantial practice in Residential and Commercial Landlord and Tenant matters and Liquor Licensing. He has developed a national reputation for meticulous, dynamic and no nonsense conduct of his clients' cases.

Claire Whiteman is a Partner and was admitted in 1994. She specialises in Landlord and Tenant Law. She has particular expertise in enfranchisement and is acknowledged as one of the foremost Landlord and Tenant and Housing Lawyers.

Julian was admitted in 1998 and is Head of the Family Law Department.

Julian is one of the first Solicitors in this area to become a trained Collaborative Family Lawyer.

Julian is the Press Relation Officer for the Sussex Law Society and is 2006's longest golf driving Solicitor in England

Michael Scampton is a Partner and is the Head of the Residential Property Department. Having over 25 years of experience he has an enviable local client base. Michael was admitted in 1976 and in that time has gained experience in Criminal and Family Law now specialising in Commercial and Residential property Law.

Siobhan Cox became a Partner in 2005 and specialises in Residential and Commercial Property Law. Having trained with the firm she qualified in 2003 and has since built up an extensive knowledge in the commercial property field particularly in relation to commercial leases.

Seema Roberts is a Solicitor having qualified in 1997. She specialises in all aspects of Family Law. She is a Member of Resolution (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association).

Rebecca Miles joined the firm as a trainee Solicitor in 2003. Having qualified in 2005 she now works as a solicitor in the Private Client department specialising in Wills, Trusts and Probate.

Rebecca is a member of Solicitors for the Elderly and is therefore able to advise on a range of issues specific to the elderly. She is also a student member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

Clare Hopley is a Legal Executive and specialises in residential conveyancing with particular experience in handling Leasehold transactions.

Julie Adams is an Executive and has comprehensive experience of residential property Law having first started at the firm in July 1972.

Camilla Martin is an Executive and specialises in debt recovery and Landlord and Tenant Law. She regularly represents the firm at local conferences and exhibitions held by key Landlord and Tenant groups.

Sue Ines is an Executive and specialises in Employment Law with particular emphasis in maternity rights and disability discrimination. She regularly represents the firm at conferences and seminars in order to keep ahead in this rapidly expanding area of law. She has been a Magistrate for 15 years and sits on the Betting and Gaming Committee and Fine Enforcement Panel.

Bob Eastlake is an Executive. He joined the firm in 2004 working in the Civil Litigation Department specializing in money recovery with regard to Landlord & Tenant matters and debt collection.

Andrew has worked as a Management Consultant specialising in the Legal Sector for 20 years. Before that he founded and ran his own Corporate Finance business in the City of London.

Jill Burnett has worked for the firm since 1986. She is responsible for the day to day operational and accounting aspects of the business.
